On Nov. 11th, my mom and I set out on an adventure to California!! We went to go see my brother and sister-in-law who just had a new baby boy! They are sooo cute with their new little one, it was such a treat to see!! But oh boy was the trip an eye opener. I just realized that I am not a very good mother, can't handle as much stress as I thought I could and once again it was brought to my attention that I am just not as good as Mary at anything. She had to come in and rescue me and a number of times and was so much better with Mae. Sad day really. But nonetheless, we made it home in one piece. Here are a few pictures of the trip.

Thanks for letting Mae and I come Bryan and Wendy! Even though I was a stress case the whole time!!! It was so fun to see you guys and meet little Jack! Welcome to the world Jack we LOVE you!!

Christina...you are CRAZY!!! I hate when you say you are not as good as me at things. You are a FAR calmer mother than I could ever be!! I mean how many times have you seen me FREAK out in front of sooo many people with my kids. Being a mom is just hard and traveling with kids is just HARD...Not quite as much of a vacation with kids :)Plus this trip was stressful fro far more many reasons than just poor little Mae. You are WAY too hard on yourself and you need to realize that ALL mothers have their moments. And you are seriously the best most natural little mother I have ever seen and I envy that sooooo much!! I love you tons Christina!!
K, so I came here to tell you exactly what I just saw Mary wrote. I can't believe you would say that you aren't a good mom! YOU ARE!! I have nothing else to say b/c Mary said it all. I hope you know how great of a mom "I" at least think you are. :)
